 Usain Bolt is a Jamaican sprinter with an estimated net worth of $90 million. At his peak, Usain Bolt was the fastest human on earth and was among the most well-paid athletes on the planet particularly during Olympics times. Usain was paid between $20-$30 million each year during the time leading up to the Olympics. He was the highest-paid track and fields athlete of all time. You can imagine that the vast major portion of his earnings was from endorsements and not the prizes he won in competitions on track. Puma is a German shoe manufacturer, paid Usain $9 million per year for the privilege of wearing their footwear both on and off the track. Usain earned additional million from deals with Visa, Nissan and Gatorade. Bolt's autobiography, a bestseller is published in 2010 by Harper Collins. The advance included a multi-million-dollar advance. Usain also has appearance fees of $250,000 to $500,000 to compete at events for track and field all over the world. In his Olympic career Usain was awarded eight gold medals. He holds a number of world records including the 100 meter (9.58 seconds) and 200 meter (19.19).
