Tony Robbins rose to fame in the latter part of the 80s due to his infomercials which promoted popular seminars and self-help publications. Today , he is the owner of 33 businesses in different industries that produce a total of $1 billion+ annually in revenue.Tony Robbins was born Anthony J, Mahovoric on February 29 60 in North Hollywood, California. He is the 3rd oldest child of three. Tony was seven when his parents divorced. His mom was married to Jim Robbins, a semi-professional pitcher. When Tony was 12, he was legally adopted by Jim and adopted his birth name. The family was based in Azusa, California and Tony was a student at Glendora High School, where he was the student body president his senior year.
