Spencer

 Spencer Michael Rattler (born September 28th 1999) is an American football quarterback who plays for the NCAA football team of South Carolina. Rattler began his college career with Oklahoma before transferring to South Carolina in 2021.Going into his freshman year in redshirt, Rattler competed with Tanner Mordecai to be the quarterback. On September 1st Lincoln Riley announced that Rattler was the winner of the quarterback starting job over Mordecai, and Rattler made his starting debut on the 12th of September in the game against Missouri State. Rattler broke the Oklahoma record of eight touchdown passes in just two weeks on the 26th of September. The record was established by Sam Bradford back in 2008. Rattler's first start was not an easy one. His Sooners were defeated by Kansas State in Rattler's second attempt. Rattler was able to throw for 300 yards and two touchdowns in his third try against Iowa State. The loss ended an unbeaten streak that was characterized by Iowa State lose 24 consecutive home games to Oklahoma. Rattler as well as the Sooners were able to come back with the win against Texas during the Red River Rivalry game. Rattler was a part of the second quarter of the College Football Playoff Semi-Final Game against LSU. He was in three games in the 2019 season.
