Alex Trebek continues to be an honest and decent person even after his passing. The former "Jeopardy!" Trebek as well as "Jeopardy!" are donating the outfit worn by host. to The Doe Fund. This charity provides social services, including housing vocational training, ongoing education, housing, and paid work to Americans who have been prison or have been addicted. Trebek's son Matthew suggested that Trebek give away 14 suits, 58 dressshirts, 300 tie and other clothes items. The clothes will be distributed to men in need for job interviews through The Doe Fund's "Ready, Willing and Able" program. The planned complex, which will span 50,000 square feet, is for elderly people living in poverty within the San Fernando Valley. Trebek did not give it as an unintentional donation. He's been contributing financially to Hope of the Valley for years. He donated $100,000 to the organization Hope of the Valley in the month of March in 2020. This money will be used to build the construction of a North Hollywood complex. The "Alex and Jean Trebek Multipurpose Room" will live there once it is complete. It will also house about 80 beds, bathrooms, and laundry rooms.
