 Pat Boone is a singer, actor, composer as well as a writer and TV celebrity with an estimated net worth of $50 million. Pat Boone is one of the most well-known recording artists in the 50s and 1960s. He also gained recognition as host of the ABC variety series "The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom," and for starring in a variety of Hollywood films. In the 1970s, Boone turned increasingly toward the pursuit of Christian principles and gospel music, and later became a conservative broadcaster. He sold more than 45 million albums throughout his musical career. Boone had 38 Top 40 hits. Boone also founded an album label called Lion & Lamb Records, that he created in the early 1970's.Pat Boone was born on June 1, 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida to Archie and Margaret. The younger brother of his, Cecil, became a pop artist. Boone was only two years old, moved to Nashville, Tennessee with his family. There he spent his teenage years and childhood. He went to David Lipscomb High School, graduating in 1952. Boone went to David Lipscomb College and Lipscomb University prior to attending North Texas State University. He was awarded the magna cum award from Columbia University in 1958.
